What is a money bill, and in which House can it be introduced?
The Union Legislature
Original Khojo Papers practice question — not from a past board paper.
The bill is introduced in either House at the first reading, where its title is read and it is published. At the second reading it is discussed in principle, referred to a select committee if needed, and considered clause by clause. At the third reading it is debated as a whole and voted on. It then goes to the other House, which may pass, reject or amend it, and finally to the President for assent.
No citable source has been recorded for this record. Treat it as practice material, not as fact.
A deadlock between the two Houses over an ordinary bill is resolved by a joint sitting.
